Terms and conditions

The terms that apply when Floor & Form supplies and installs flooring for you, and when you use this website.

Last updated: 28 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to the supply and installation of flooring by Floor & Form, part of Cranleigh Carpet Warehouse ("we", "us"). They form part of every quotation we issue. Please read them alongside your written quotation; if the two differ, the quotation takes priority.

2. Quotations

Quotations are based on our survey and the information you provide, and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Prices include VAT unless shown otherwise.

If room sizes, subfloor condition or the scope of work turn out to differ from what was surveyed, we will explain the change and agree any revised price with you before continuing.

3. Orders and deposits

An order is confirmed when you accept the quotation and pay any deposit requested. Many products, including bespoke runners and made-to-order items, are ordered specifically for you once the deposit is received.

The balance is due on completion of installation unless agreed otherwise in writing.

4. Your right to cancel

If the contract is agreed at your home or at a distance, you may cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. If you ask us to start work or order bespoke or made-to-measure goods within that period, you may have to pay for work done and goods already cut or made to your specification.

5. Samples and natural variation

Samples show the typical colour and texture of a product. Natural materials such as wool, wood, sisal and stone vary between batches and will not match a sample exactly. This is not a defect.

6. Preparing for installation

Please ensure rooms are clear, or let us know in advance if you need furniture moved. Heating, power and water should be available, and the property should be weathertight.

Screeds and subfloors must be dry and sound. Where we find moisture, unevenness or damage we will advise what preparation is needed. Doors may need trimming after new flooring is fitted; we will tell you if this is included.

7. Lead times and access

Lead times are estimates and depend on manufacturers. We will keep you informed of any delay. We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

8. Guarantees and aftercare

We guarantee our installation workmanship for 12 months from completion. Manufacturer guarantees apply to products in line with their terms, including following the care guidance we provide.

Guarantees do not cover wear and tear, misuse, damage from water, heat or pets, or problems caused by subfloor conditions you asked us to proceed over against our advice.

9. Your statutory rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If something is not right, contact us promptly and we will put it right.

10. Use of this website

Content on this website is for general information and may change without notice. Images may be illustrative. All content and the Floor & Form name and logo belong to us and may not be reused without permission.
