1. Who we are
Floor & Form is part of Cranleigh Carpet Warehouse, which is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. You can contact us about privacy by telephone on 01243 943009 or by email at info@floorandform.co.uk.
2. Information we collect
When you make an enquiry, book a consultation or request samples we collect the details you give us: your name, telephone number, email address, property address or postcode, and information about your project such as rooms, materials and timescale.
If you are an interior designer, architect or trade partner we also collect your company name and project details.
When you visit the site we may collect limited technical information such as your browser type, pages viewed and approximate location, through cookies and similar technologies.
3. How we use your information
To respond to your enquiry, arrange home visits and surveys, prepare quotations, supply and install flooring, take payment and provide aftercare.
To keep records required for accounting, warranty and legal purposes.
To improve our website and services. We will only send you marketing if you have agreed to it, and you can opt out at any time.
4. Lawful basis
Under UK GDPR we rely on: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and performing that contract; our legitimate interests in running and improving our business; compliance with legal obligations; and your consent for marketing and non-essential cookies.
5. Sharing your information
We share information only where needed to deliver your project, for example with our fitters, flooring manufacturers and suppliers, delivery companies, payment providers and IT and hosting providers. They may only use it for that purpose.
We never sell your personal information. We may disclose it where required by law.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not proceed are kept for up to two years. Customer and project records are kept for up to seven years after completion for accounting and warranty purposes, then securely deleted.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies so the site works properly. With your consent we may also use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may then not work as intended.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us by telephone on 01243 943009 or by email at info@floorandform.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
9. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
